3. Setup Guide
3.1 Hardware Connection (Plug & Play)
The WEILAILIFE POE system is designed for easy plug-and-play installation. Power over Ethernet (POE) technology allows a single Ethernet cable to provide both power and data connection to each camera.
- Connect Cameras to NVR: Connect each 8.0 Megapixel POE Dome Camera to the POE LAN ports on the NVR using the provided 60FT Network Cables.
- Connect NVR to Power: Plug the 12V2A power supply into the NVR's power port and then into a power outlet.
- Connect NVR to Router (for online access): Connect the NVR's WAN port to your internet router using an Ethernet cable. This enables remote viewing and app functionality.
- Connect NVR to Display: Connect the NVR to a monitor or TV using an HDMI or VGA cable to view the live feed and configure settings.

3.2 App Setup (HonestView)
To access your security system remotely, download and configure the "HonestView" app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Download the App: Search for "HonestView" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and install it.
- Add Device: Open the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device, and select "Scan to add".
- Scan QR Code: Scan the QR code displayed on your NVR's screen or on the device body.
