4. Setup and Installation
Installation of this car radio requires technical knowledge. If you are not confident in performing the installation yourself, it is recommended to seek professional assistance.
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected before starting.
- Compare the size and shape of your car's dashboard with the provided unit and dashboard kit to ensure compatibility.
- Gather all necessary tools, including the provided installation tool.
4.2 Wiring Connections
Connect the cables as follows:
- Power Cable: Connect the main power harness to the car's wiring. Ensure ACC, B+, and Ground wires are correctly matched.
- Canbus Decoder: Connect the Canbus decoder if your vehicle requires it for steering wheel controls or other vehicle data integration.
- Radio Antenna: Connect the radio antenna for FM/RDS reception.
- GPS Antenna: Mount the GPS antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky (e.g., dashboard, under the windshield) and connect it to the unit.
- USB Cables: Connect the dual USB cables for external storage or device charging. Route them to an accessible location.
- RCA Cable: Use the RCA cable for external amplifier connections or other audio/video inputs/outputs.

5.1 Initial Power On and System Overview

5.2 Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
The unit supports wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. To connect:
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- On the car radio, go to the CarPlay or Android Auto application.
- Pair your phone with the car radio via Bluetooth.
- Once connected, your phone's interface will be mirrored on the car radio screen, allowing access to navigation, messaging, music, and voice assistants (Siri/Google).

5.3 GPS Navigation & WiFi Connectivity
The unit features built-in GPS navigation. It comes with pre-installed offline maps, but an internet connection is required to download map data updates. Connect to WiFi to access online features:
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
- Select your desired Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Once connected, you can use online navigation, stream music/videos, browse the web, and use social media applications.

5.4 Bluetooth 5.0, DSP, FM/RDS Radio
- Bluetooth 5.0: For hands-free calling and audio streaming. Pair your phone via Bluetooth settings. The external microphone enhances call clarity.
- DSP (Digital Sound Processor): Utilize the 32-band equalizer and various preset sound styles (Rock, Jazz, Classic, etc.) to customize your audio experience. Access this feature through the audio settings menu.
