5.2 General Care

  • Regularly clean the camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality.
  • Ensure power connections are secure and free from moisture.
  • Periodically check for firmware updates through the mobile app or manufacturer's website to ensure optimal performance and security.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Image/Video Feed

  • Check Power: Ensure both the NVR and all cameras are properly connected to their power adapters and receiving power.
  • NVR-Display Connection: Verify the HDMI cable connection between the NVR and your monitor/TV.
  • Camera-NVR Connection: Confirm that cameras are within the wireless range (up to 100ft) of the NVR. Obstacles like thick walls can reduce range.
  • Re-pair Cameras: If a camera loses connection, consult the app or NVR interface for options to re-pair it with the NVR.

6.2 Weak Wi-Fi Signal / Disconnections

  • NVR Placement: Position the NVR centrally within the area you wish to cover, minimizing obstructions between the NVR and cameras.
  • Router Proximity: Ensure your home Wi-Fi router is close enough to the NVR for a stable internet connection if using remote viewing.
  • Interference: Avoid placing the NVR or cameras near devices that emit strong electromagnetic interference (e.g., microwaves, cordless phones).

6.3 Remote Viewing Issues

  • Internet Connection: Verify that your NVR is connected to the internet and your mobile device has a stable internet connection.
  • App Status: Ensure the ICSee app is updated to the latest version.
  • Firewall/Router Settings: Check your router's firewall settings to ensure they are not blocking the app's access to the NVR.
