5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the monitor.
  2. Open the battery cover.
  3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover securely.

5.2. Initial Settings (Date and Time)

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Preparing for Measurement

  • Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising, and bathing for 30 minutes before measurement.
  • Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
  • Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
  • Remove any tight clothing from your wrist.

6.2. Applying the Wrist Cuff

  1. Place the monitor on your left wrist with the display facing upwards.
  2. Ensure the cuff is positioned approximately 1-2 cm (0.4-0.8 inches) from your palm.
  3. Fasten the cuff snugly but not too tightly.
  4. Position your wrist at heart level during the measurement.

6.3. Taking a Measurement

  1. Press the START/STOP button to turn on the monitor. The cuff will automatically inflate.
  2. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
  3. Once the measurement is complete, the systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings will be displayed on the LCD screen.
  4. The device will automatically store the reading and power off after a period of inactivity.

6.4. Memory Function

The monitor stores up to 120 measurements for two users.

  1. Press the MEM button to view previous readings.
  2. Press MEM repeatedly to scroll through stored measurements.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

  • Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth.

7.2. Storage

  • Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting
