3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Connection

1. Power On: Connect the provided power adapter to the router's power port and plug it into a power outlet.
2. Connect to Modem: Use the included Ethernet cable to connect your modem's LAN port to the 2.5Gbps WAN/LAN port on the Tenda BE5100 router.
3. Connect Devices: For initial setup, you can connect a computer to one of the router's 1Gbps LAN ports using an Ethernet cable, or connect wirelessly to the default Wi-Fi network (SSID and password are usually found on a label on the router).

3.2 Configuration via Tenda App or Web Interface

The Tenda BE5100 RE6L Pro can be easily set up using the Tenda App or a web browser interface.

• Tenda App: Download the Tenda App from your mobile device's app store. Follow the on-screen instructions to detect and configure your new router.

6.2 Slow Wi-Fi Speed

• Ensure your devices are connected to the 5GHz band for higher speeds, if supported.
• Reduce the distance between your device and the router, or minimize physical obstructions.
• Check for Wi-Fi interference from other electronic devices.
• Limit the number of concurrent devices or bandwidth-intensive activities.

6.3 Cannot Connect to Wi-Fi Network

• Double-check the Wi-Fi password. Ensure you are entering it correctly (case-sensitive).
• Move closer to the router to improve signal strength.
• Restart your device and try connecting again.

6.4 Forgot Router Admin Password

• If you have forgotten your router's login password, you will need to perform a factory reset. Locate the WPS/RESET button on the back of the router.

• Release the button. The router will restart with factory default settings, and you can then set up a new admin password.
