Setup Guide
- Unboxing and Placement: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the feeder on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet and within Wi-Fi range.
- Assemble the Bowl: Attach the stainless steel food bowl to the base of the feeder. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Install Desiccant Bag: Open the desiccant compartment located under the lid. Insert one desiccant bag (do not unpack individual packets before use). Close the compartment securely. It is recommended to replace the desiccant bag once every half month to maintain food freshness.
- Fill Food Tank: Open the top lid of the feeder. Pour dry pet food into the food tank. Ensure the food size is appropriate for the dispenser mechanism (typically 5-15mm diameter). Close the lid securely with the twist-lock mechanism to maintain freshness.
- Power On: Connect the power adapter to the feeder and plug it into a wall outlet. The feeder will power on. For backup power, install D-cell batteries (not included) in the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder.
- Download and Connect App:
- Download the "PETLIBRO" App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Create an account or log in.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add your feeder. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz or 5GHz Wi-Fi network during the pairing process.
Operating Instructions
- Scheduling Meals:
- Open the PETLIBRO App and select your feeder.
- Navigate to the "Feeding Plan" or "Schedule" section.
- Set the desired meal times (up to 10 meals per day).
- Specify the number of portions for each meal (1-48 portions).
- Save your settings. The feeder will dispense food automatically at the scheduled times.
- Manual Feeding:
- From the App, you can manually dispense a single portion of food by tapping the "Feed Now" button.
- Alternatively, press the manual feed button on the feeder itself (refer to the feeder's physical button layout for exact location).
- Recording Meal Calls:
- In the App, go to the "Voice Recording" or "Meal Call" section.
- Record your voice message (up to 10 seconds). You can record up to 10 different messages.
- Assign the recorded message to play before each scheduled meal. You can also adjust the playback volume.
- Checking Feeding Records: The App allows you to view a history of dispensed meals, ensuring your pet has been fed according to the schedule.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Food Bowl: The stainless steel food bowl is removable for easy cleaning. Wash it with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely before reattaching.
- Cleaning the Feeder Body: Wipe the exterior of the feeder with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water. Ensure no water enters the electronic components.
- Desiccant Bag Replacement: Replace the desiccant bag every two weeks (or as needed) to ensure optimal food freshness. Dispose of used desiccant bags responsibly.
- Food Tank Cleaning: Periodically empty and clean the food tank, especially if changing food types or if food residue builds up. Ensure it is completely dry before refilling.
