2. Setup

2.1 Charging the Scanner

Before initial use, fully charge the scanner. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the scanner's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The smart LCD display will indicate the battery level during charging.

2.2 Powering On/Off

  • 2.4G Wireless Connection:
    Insert the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Turn on the scanner. The scanner will automatically attempt to connect to the receiver. The LCD display will show the connection status.
  • USB Wired Connection:
    Connect the scanner directly to your computer using the provided USB cable. The scanner will function as a wired device, and no additional pairing is required.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Smart LCD Display

The integrated LCD display provides real-time information including time, battery level, connection mode, and barcode data. It also allows for intuitive configuration of scanner functions without needing to scan complex programming barcodes from a manual.

3.3 Scanning Modes

4.2 Cleaning

To clean the scanner, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

4.3 Storage

Store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The 2.4G receiver can be stored in its dedicated slot on the scanner to prevent loss.

  • Scanner not connecting: Ensure the scanner is charged and powered on. Verify the correct connection mode (Bluetooth, 2.4G, USB) is selected and properly configured on both the scanner and the host device. For 2.4G, ensure the dongle is securely inserted.
  • Scanning issues: Ensure the barcode is clean, undamaged, and well-lit. Adjust the distance and angle of the scanner to the barcode. Some very small or low-contrast QR codes may be difficult to read.
  • Data not transmitting: Check the connection status on the LCD display. Ensure the host device's input field is active and ready to receive data. If in storage mode, ensure you initiate the upload process.
  • Short operating range: Wireless range can be affected by environmental interference. Try reducing the distance between the scanner and the receiver/host device.
  • LCD display not working: Ensure the scanner is powered on and charged. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
