Setup
1. Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove all components from the packaging: the weighing platform, LCD display unit, coiled cable, 2 AAA batteries, and USB power cable.
- Place the weighing platform on a flat, stable, and level surface. Ensure the four non-slip pads on the bottom of the platform are securely in contact with the surface to prevent movement and ensure accurate readings.
- Connect the coiled cable from the weighing platform to the LCD display unit.

2. Power Supply
The scale can be powered by two methods:
- Battery Power: Insert 2 AAA batteries (included) into the battery compartment located on the back of the LCD display unit. Ensure correct polarity.
- USB Power: Connect the provided USB power cable to the DC round port on the display unit and to a compatible USB power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter or computer USB port).
Note: The included 2 AAA batteries are for the display unit. If the scale platform requires separate batteries (not common for this model but check your specific unit), these are not included.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
- Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on. The LCD display will light up and show "0.00" when ready.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button to turn the scale off.
2. Unit Conversion
- Press the MODE button to cycle through the available weighing units: Kilograms (kg), Pounds (lb), and Pounds:Ounces (lb:oz).
- Select the desired unit before weighing.

3. Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you can measure only the net weight of its contents.
- Place the empty container on the weighing platform.
- Wait for the weight to stabilize.
- Press the TARE button. The display will reset to "0.00".
- Now, place the items to be weighed into the container. The display will show only the weight of the items.

4. Hold Function
The Hold function allows you to lock the weight reading on the display, even after removing the item from the platform. This is useful for large or awkward items that might obstruct the display.
- Place the item on the weighing platform.
- Wait for the weight to stabilize.
- Press the HOLD button. The displayed weight will be locked.
- You can now remove the item, and the weight will remain on the display. Press HOLD again to release the reading.

5. General Weighing
- Ensure the scale is on and displaying "0.00" in your desired unit.
- Place the item gently in the center of the weighing platform.
- Wait for the display to stabilize and read the weight.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
- The stainless steel platform is easy to clean. Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap to wipe down the surface.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- Ensure the display unit and cable connections remain dry.
2. Storage
- Store the scale in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
