3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Earphones and Case
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the USB-C input port on the charging case.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
- The battery indicator on the charging case will illuminate to show the charging status. Once fully charged, the indicator will change or turn off depending on the model.
- Place the earphones into the charging case. The earphones will begin charging automatically. The multi-indicator on the earphones will show their charging status.
Note: Ensure both the earphones and charging case are fully charged before first use for optimal battery life.
3.2 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the earphones are charged and placed inside the charging case.
- Open the lid of the charging case. The earphones will automatically enter pairing mode, and the multi-indicator on the earphones will flash.
- On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices and select "cheero Smart Neo" from the list.
- Once connected, the multi-indicator on the earphones will stop flashing, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
Note: If pairing fails, close the charging case lid, wait a few seconds, then open it again and repeat the steps. For subsequent uses, the earphones will automatically connect to the last paired device when the case lid is opened.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Wearing the Earphones
The cheero Smart Neo earphones are designed to clip gently onto your ear, similar to an ear cuff, without entering the ear canal. This design ensures comfort and allows you to remain aware of your surroundings.

4.2 Button Controls

- Important: The charging case is not water-resistant. Do not expose the charging case to water or moisture.
- Do not submerge the earphones in water for extended periods.
