- Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled 5-star base. Do not force it; it should sit snugly.
- Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it with the provided screws using the Allen wrench. Ensure the front of the mechanism (usually indicated by an arrow or label) faces the front of the seat.
- Attach Armrests to Seat: Secure the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the provided screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly (left armrest on the left, right on the right).
- Attach Backrest to Seat/Mechanism: Connect the backrest assembly to the mechanism plate or seat according to the specific design, securing with screws.
- Attach Headrest: If detachable, attach the headrest to the top of the backrest by sliding it into the designated slots.
- Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring it is centered and stable. The chair should now be able to rotate freely.
- Final Check: Verify all screws are tightened and the chair is stable before use. Test all adjustment functions.
Operating Instructions
Your TRALT ergonomic office chair offers several adjustment features to customize your seating experience for optimal comfort and support.
Chair Height Adjustment
To adjust the chair height, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. While holding the lever, apply your body weight to lower the chair, or lift your body weight to raise the chair. Release the lever to lock the height.
Recline Function and Tension Adjustment
The chair features a recline function for comfortable leaning. To adjust the recline tension, rotate the round knob located under the front-center of the seat. Turning it clockwise increases tension, making it harder to recline; turning it counter-clockwise decreases tension, allowing for easier recline.

Adaptable Lumbar Support
The lumbar support can be adjusted to provide optimal support for the natural curve of your lower back. Locate the adjustment mechanism on the backrest and slide or rotate it to achieve your desired level of support.

Flip-up Armrests
The armrests can be flipped up by 90 degrees to save space or allow closer access to your desk. Simply lift the armrests upwards until they lock into the vertical position. To return them to the horizontal position, gently pull them down.

Maintenance and Care
Proper care and maintenance will help extend the life and preserve the appearance of your TRALT office chair.
- Cleaning: Clean the chair with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the materials.
- Sunlight Exposure: Keep the chair away from direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent material degradation, fading, and discoloration.
- Tighten Fasteners: Periodically check and tighten all screws and bolts to ensure the chair remains stable and safe for use. Loose fasteners can lead to instability and potential damage.
- Caster Care: Keep the casters clean from hair, dust, and debris to ensure smooth movement and prevent scratches on your floor.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your TRALT office chair, refer to the following common problems and their solutions:
- Chair Sinks or Does Not Stay at Desired Height:
Solution: The gas lift cylinder may be faulty. Contact customer support for a replacement. - Chair Wobbles or Feels Unstable:
Solution: Check all assembly screws and bolts. Tighten any loose fasteners. Ensure the 5-star base is properly assembled and the gas lift is securely seated. - Casters Not Rolling Smoothly:
Solution: Check casters for trapped hair, dust, or debris and clean them thoroughly. Ensure they are fully inserted into the base. - Recline Function is Too Loose or Too Stiff:
Solution: Adjust the recline tension knob located under the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (stiffer recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (looser recline).
