Safety Information

Your safety is paramount. Adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Climbing Ability: The wheelchair has a maximum climbing ability of 12°. Do not attempt to ascend or descend inclines steeper than this.
  • Electronic Brake System: The advanced electronic brake system ensures secure stopping when the joystick is released.
  • Safety Belts: Always use the adjustable waist and leg safety belts to prevent accidental falls.
  • Anti-Tilt Wheels: Ensure anti-tilt wheels are properly installed to safeguard against tipping, especially during uphill or downhill movements.
  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid using the wheelchair in extreme weather conditions or on excessively rough terrain that may compromise stability.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your wheelchair.

Battery Care

The 12AH lead-acid battery provides an average travel range of 15+ miles. For optimal battery life, charge the battery fully before first use and regularly thereafter. Avoid completely draining the battery. Always connect the red power cord during installation to ensure proper charging.

Tire Maintenance

The wheelchair features durable 7-inch front and 11-inch rear airless tires, designed to handle various terrains. Regularly inspect the tires for any signs of wear, damage, or embedded debris. No inflation is required for these tires.

Frame Care

The robust iron frame is built for durability. Clean the frame regularly with a damp cloth and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools that could damage the finish.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

Wheelchair Not Running Properly When Powered On

  • Ensure the handbrake is in the down position (disengaged).
  • Press the clutches down on both sides of the rear wheels to engage the motors. If one clutch is not fully pressed, the wheelchair may not move or turn correctly.

Reversing Voice Prompt When Moving Forward

If the wheelchair announces "Look out, reversing" while you are attempting to move forward, this indicates that the left and right motor wires may be plugged in backward. Power off the wheelchair, carefully check the motor wire connections, and correct them as needed.
