Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your VIAGDO Twin Daybed with Trundle. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.

Important Safety Information

• Always keep the trundle bed fully extended when in use to prevent entrapment.
• Use the locking mechanism on the wheels to prevent unwanted movement of the trundle.
• Always supervise children when using the daybed with trundle.
• Ensure all screws and bolts are securely tightened before use and periodically check for tightness.
• Do not exceed the recommended weight capacity for the daybed (440 lbs) and trundle bed (350 lbs).
• The charging station meets ETL certification standards. Do not overload the outlets.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this daybed. It is recommended to have two people for assembly. Please ensure all parts are present before beginning.

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out. Refer to the included installation manual for a complete list of labeled parts and hardware.
2. Assemble the Main Daybed Frame: Follow the step-by-step diagrams in the provided manual to connect the main frame components. Ensure all connection screws are tightened securely.
3. Install the Headboard: Attach the upholstered headboard and the bookcase storage shelves to the main frame.
4. Assemble the Trundle Bed Frame: Construct the trundle frame, ensuring the 4 casters with 2 locking mechanisms are correctly installed. The trapezoidal frame support should be stable.
5. Integrate the Trundle: Slide the assembled trundle frame under the main daybed. Utilize the trundle fixing clamps to secure it when not in use, or to align it for twin-to-king conversion.
6. Install Slats and Mattress Stopper: Place the metal slats onto both the main daybed and the trundle. Attach the anti-slipping mattress stoppers to keep the mattress in place.
7. Attach Side Storage Pouches: Secure the side cloth pouches to the handrails as desired.
8. Connect Charging Station and LED Lights: Plug in the built-in charging station and LED lights according to the manual.

Operating Instructions

Trundle Bed Operation:

The trundle bed provides additional sleeping space and can be configured in two ways:

• Standard Trundle: To use as a standard trundle, simply pull it out from under the main daybed. Ensure the wheels are unlocked for smooth movement. The trundle can remain on the floor.
• Twin to King Daybed: For a larger sleeping surface, pull the trundle out and lift its frame to the same height as the main daybed. Secure it using the designated connection points and trundle fixing clamps. Lock the casters to prevent movement. This creates a larger sleeping area, effectively converting the twin daybed into a king-sized bed.

Built-in Charging Station:

The headboard features a built-in charging station for your convenience.

• Power Outlets: Includes 2 AC outlets (125V/2A) for standard electrical devices.
• USB Ports: Features 1 USB port (5V/2A) and 1 fast charging Type-C port (5V/3A) for charging mobile devices.
• Usage: Simply plug your devices into the appropriate ports. Ensure the daybed is connected to a power source via its 6.5-foot power cord.

RGB LED Lights:

The integrated RGB LED lights offer customizable ambiance for your room.

• Control: The LED lights can be controlled via a remote control or a dedicated phone application.
• Features: Access over 60,000 RGB colors, 29 dynamic modes, schedule on/off functions, and a microphone function that allows lights to sync with music.
• Night Light Function: The soft LED lights can also serve as a night light.

Storage Features:

• Bookcase Headboard: The 4-tier storage shelf and three open storage cubes (5.9'' depth) provide space for books, electronics, and decorative items.
• Side Cloth Pouches: Two side storage cloth pouches are located on the handrails for small items like remotes, pens, books, or magazines.
• Under Bed Space: The design allows for 14.8 inches of under-bed clearance for additional storage when the trundle is not in use or for the trundle itself.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: For the upholstered headboard, spot clean only. For other surfaces, wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals.
• Hardware Check: Periodically inspect all screws, bolts, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability.
• Caster Maintenance: Keep trundle casters free of debris to ensure smooth operation.
