Setup

1. System Components Overview

2. Connecting the System

The LongPlus system utilizes Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, simplifying installation by delivering both power and video data through a single Ethernet cable. This allows for flexible camera placement without the need for separate power outlets near each camera.

1. Connect Cameras to NVR: Connect each 4K PoE camera to an available PoE port on the back of the NVR using the provided Ethernet cables. The NVR will automatically power the cameras.
2. Connect NVR to Monitor: Use the included HDMI cable to connect the NVR to a monitor or TV for initial setup and live viewing. Alternatively, a VGA cable can be used.
3. Connect USB Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into one of the USB ports on the NVR for navigation.
4. Connect NVR to Network: Connect the NVR's LAN port to your router or network switch using the short Ethernet cable. This enables remote access and app connectivity.
5. Power On: Connect the NVR's power adapter to a power outlet. The system will boot up automatically.

Follow the on-screen prompts on your connected monitor to complete the initial setup, including setting up administrator passwords, time zone, and network settings. The NVR comes with a 2TB HDD pre-installed for immediate recording.

4. Mobile App Setup (Longvision APP/Client)

For remote viewing and advanced features, download the Longvision APP (for iOS/Android) or Client software (for Mac/Windows). Scan the QR code displayed on the NVR's screen or found in the Quick Start Guide to add your device to the app.
