4. Setup Instructions

Proper setup ensures maximum protection and comfort. Follow these steps to prepare your helmet for use.

4.1. Adjusting the Head Size

  1. Place the helmet on your head.
  2. Locate the adjustable ratchet suspension dial at the back of the helmet.
  3. Rotate the dial clockwise to tighten the suspension system for a snug fit, or counter-clockwise to loosen it. Adjust until the helmet feels secure without being uncomfortably tight. The helmet accommodates head sizes from 53-63 cm (20.87-24.80 inches).

4.2. Adjusting the 6-Point Suspension System

The internal 6-point textile suspension system can be adjusted for improved shock absorption and overall comfort.

4.3. Attaching and Adjusting the Chin Strap

  1. Ensure the chin strap is securely attached to the helmet's anchor points.
  2. Place the molded chin-cup under your chin.
  3. Adjust the strap length on both sides to achieve a secure fit that keeps the helmet in place during activity. The chin strap is also removable if not needed.

4.4. Adjusting Ear Muffs

  1. The ear muffs are attached to the helmet and can rotate 360 degrees.
  2. Position the ear muffs over your ears, ensuring a snug seal around the entire ear.
  3. Adjust the height of the ear muffs by sliding them up or down along their attachment points on the helmet until they comfortably cover your ears.
  4. The ear muffs can be removed if hearing protection is not required.

4.5. Positioning Visors

  1. The helmet features a built-in clear visor and an additional half-face tinted visor.
  2. Both visors can be independently slid up or down to the desired position.
  3. For eye debris protection, lower the clear built-in visor.
  4. For additional face debris protection and anti-UV properties, lower the half-face tinted visor.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the helmet system is properly adjusted, it is ready for use. Always ensure all components are correctly positioned for the task at hand.

5.1. Wearing the Helmet

Place the helmet firmly on your head, ensuring the front brim is positioned correctly. The helmet should not wobble or shift during movement. Secure the chin strap.

5.2. Using the Visors

  • Clear Built-in Visor: Lower this visor for general eye protection against debris and impacts. It enhances good visibility.
  • Half-Face Tinted Visor: Lower this visor for additional face protection, scratch prevention, dust protection, and anti-UV properties. Use in bright conditions or when additional face coverage is needed.
  • Both visors can be retracted when not needed by sliding them upwards.

5.3. Using the Ear Muffs

When working in noisy environments, ensure the ear muffs are pulled down and sealed tightly around your ears to achieve the stated NRR of 27dB. When not needed, they can be rotated upwards or removed.

5.4. Adjusting Ventilation

The helmet features sliding vent holes. On hot days or during strenuous activity, open the vents to increase air circulation and improve comfort. Close the vents in colder conditions or when protection from elements is desired.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning
