2. Mounting the Tail Light

The NT101 offers two installation options: seatpost mount and cargo rack mount.

Seatpost Mount:

Attach the seatpost mount to your bike's seatpost using the provided hardware. Ensure it is securely fastened. The mount fits round seatposts (28-35mm in diameter, circumference 85-110mm) and some aero seatposts with a width of <= 3.5cm. Insert the tail light unit into the mount until it clicks into place.

Cargo Rack Mount:

If your bike has a cargo rack with an interface shown in the product images (distance between holes 4cm-8.5cm), use the cargo rack mount. Secure the mount to the rack using the provided screws. Slide the tail light unit onto the mount until it locks.

5. Brake Detection

The NT101 features an intelligent brake detection system. When the device senses a reduction in speed (braking), the tail light will automatically brighten for 2 seconds to alert traffic behind you, similar to a car's brake light. This feature significantly enhances safety.

6. Anti-Theft Alarm

To activate the anti-theft alarm, press the "A/S" button on the remote control. Once activated, the tail light becomes vibration-sensitive. If it detects any movement or vibration when you are away from your bike, it will emit a loud 110dB alarm to deter potential theft. The sensitivity of the alarm can be adjusted across 10 levels to prevent false alarms. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full user manual for sensitivity adjustment procedures.

Maintenance

1. Charging

To ensure optimal performance and battery longevity, charge the NT101 regularly, especially when the battery indicator shows low power. Avoid completely draining the battery for extended periods.

2. Water Resistance

The NT101 has an International Protection Rating of IP6X, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against strong jets of water. While it is water-resistant, avoid submerging the device in water or exposing it to high-pressure water streams for prolonged periods.

3. Cleaning

Clean the tail light and remote control with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the device's surface or internal components.
