2. Setup and Initial Use

2.1 Battery Installation

The device requires 4 AAA batteries, which are included. Open the battery compartment on the back of the monitor and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

2.2 Cuff Attachment

Proper cuff placement is crucial for accurate readings. The universal cuff is designed to fit various arm sizes. Ensure the cuff is positioned correctly on the upper arm, approximately 1-2 cm above the elbow joint. The cuff position indicator on the display will help confirm correct placement before each measurement.

3. Operating Your Monitor

3.1 Taking a Measurement

Sit in a relaxed position with your feet flat on the floor and your arm supported at heart level. Press the START/STOP button to begin a measurement. The cuff will inflate, and the device will measure your blood pressure and pulse rate. The measurement occurs while the cuff inflates for faster and more comfortable readings.

3.2 Talking Function

The monitor features a Talking Function that reads your blood pressure results aloud in either English or Spanish. This function can be enabled or disabled through the device settings.
