Setup

Unpacking: Carefully remove the scale from its packaging.
Battery Installation: The scale requires three AAA batteries (included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Remove the plastic tab to activate the batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
Placement: Place the scale on a flat, stable, and level surface to ensure accurate measurements. Uneven surfaces can affect precision.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the POWER button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line) to turn the scale on. The display will show "0.00" when ready for use. To turn off, press and hold the POWER button, or the scale will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Unit Selection

Press the UNIT button to cycle through the available measurement units. These typically include pounds and ounces (lb:oz), fluid ounces (fl.oz), milliliters (mL), and grams (g). Both platforms will display the selected unit simultaneously.

Tare Function

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container or add multiple ingredients to the same bowl. Each platform has an independent tare button:

Tare 1: For the large platform. Place your container on the large platform, then press TARE 1. The display for the large platform will reset to "0.00". Add ingredients to measure their net weight.
Tare 2: For the precision platform. Place your container on the small platform, then press TARE 2. The display for the small platform will reset to "0.00". Add ingredients to measure their net weight.

To clear the tare, remove all items from the platform and press the corresponding TARE button again, or turn the scale off and then back on.

Maintenance and Care

Cleaning: The tempered glass platforms are easy to clean. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not immerse the scale in water or use abrasive cleaners.
Storage: Store the scale in a dry place at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight. Do not store heavy objects on the scale.
Battery Replacement: If the display shows a low battery indicator (e.g., "Lo" or a battery icon), replace all three AAA batteries. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed after replacement.
Handling: Handle the scale with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts, as this may damage the internal sensors and affect accuracy.

Troubleshooting

Inaccurate readings.	Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable, and level surface. Avoid placing items that exceed the maximum weight capacity. Recalibrate by turning the scale off and on, then taring the platform before use.
Display shows "Err" or "O-Ld".	This indicates an overload. Remove items immediately to prevent damage to the scale's sensors.
Units do not change.	Press the UNIT button firmly. If the issue persists, try replacing the batteries.
Display shows "Lo".	This indicates low battery power. Replace all three AAA batteries.
