1. Safety Information

The Vitilan I7 Pro 3.0 Electric Bike is a versatile folding e-bike designed for various terrains. It features a powerful 1200W peak motor, a long-range 48V 20Ah Samsung battery, full suspension, and hydraulic brakes for a comfortable and safe riding experience.

3. Setup and Assembly

The Vitilan I7 Pro 3.0 Electric Bike arrives 90% pre-assembled. Follow these steps for final assembly:

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the bike and all components from the packaging. Remove all protective wrapping.
  2. Handlebar Installation: Insert the handlebar stem into the fork tube and secure it with the provided tools. Ensure the handlebars are aligned with the front wheel.
  3. Front Wheel Installation: Attach the front wheel to the fork. Ensure the disc brake rotor is correctly seated within the caliper. Secure the quick-release skewer.
  4. Fender and Headlight Installation: Attach the front fender and headlight to the fork using the provided screws and brackets.
  5. Rear Rack Installation: Secure the rear rack to the designated mounting points on the bike frame.
  6. Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. Thread the pedals into the crank arms. The left pedal tightens counter-clockwise, and the right pedal tightens clockwise.
  7. Seat Adjustment: Adjust the seat post height to a comfortable riding position, ensuring your feet can touch the ground when stopped. Secure the quick-release lever.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off and Display

To power on the bike, press and hold the 'M' button on the display. The LCD screen will activate, showing battery level, current speed, pedal assist level, and odometer. To power off, press and hold the 'M' button again.

4.2 Pedal Assist and Throttle

The bike offers multiple pedal assist levels (up to 5). Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display to adjust the assist level. A higher level provides more motor assistance. The thumb throttle on the right handlebar allows for electric-only propulsion without pedaling.

4.3 Braking System

4.4 Gear Shifting

The bike features an 8-speed Shimano gear system. Use the shifter on the right handlebar to change gears, adapting to different terrains and riding conditions.

4.5 Lights and Horn

The bike is equipped with a headlight and taillight for visibility. The taillight also functions as a brake light and turn signals. A horn is integrated for alerting others.

4.6 Battery Usage and Charging

The removable 48V 20Ah Samsung battery provides a long range. To charge, connect the charger to the bike's charging port or remove the battery for off-bike charging. The charger indicator light will show charging status (red for charging, green for full).

4.7 All-Terrain Capability

5. Maintenance

  • Difficulty Shifting Gears: Check the derailleur alignment and cable tension.
