Battery Activation
The thermometer comes with batteries pre-installed. To activate, locate the ON/SET button on the underside of the unit. Press this button to turn on the device.

Selecting Temperature Unit (°C/°F)
After turning on the thermometer, press the °C/°F button (located near the battery compartment) to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit display modes. The selected unit will be shown on the digital display.
Operating Instructions
1. For Bath Water Temperature
- Place the thermometer directly into the bath water. The device is fully submersible.
- The digital display will show the water temperature, updating every 10 seconds.
- Observe the color indicator lights for quick assessment:
- Green Light: Indicates the water is too cool.
- Red Light: Indicates the water is too hot.
- No Light: Indicates the water temperature is within a safe and comfortable range (typically between 36°C - 38°C or 96.8°F - 100.4°F).
- Adjust water temperature as needed until the display shows a safe temperature and no indicator light is flashing.

2. For Room Temperature
- Place the thermometer on a flat, stable surface in the baby's room, away from direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources.
- The digital display will show the current room temperature, updating every 10 seconds.
- Monitor the room temperature to ensure it is within a comfortable range for your baby (typically 20°C - 22°C or 68°F - 72°F).

Automatic Shut-off
The thermometer features an automatic shut-off function after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the thermometer clean with a damp cloth.

- Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed after cleaning if it was opened.
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the thermometer stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries.

- Remove the old batteries and dispose of them responsibly according to local regulations.
- Insert new appropriate 1.5V batteries (e.g., type SZ.GN or equivalent), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Securely close the battery compartment cover with the screwdriver to maintain water resistance.
