1. Introduction

2. Product Components

The FOHERE 8.5Qt Steam Juice Extractor consists of three main tiers and accessories:

• Top Pot (Strainer Basket): Holds fruits or vegetables for steaming.
• Middle Pot (Juice Collection Pot): Collects the extracted juice. Features an outlet for the silicone hose.
• Bottom Pot (Water Pot): Holds water to generate steam.
• Tempered Glass Lid: Allows monitoring of the juicing process.
• Silicone Hose with Clamp: For draining the juice.

3. Setup and Assembly

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all parts (pots, lid, hose, clamp) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Assemble the Base: Place the bottom pot (water pot) on a stable, heat-resistant surface or directly on your stovetop.
4. Add Water: Fill the bottom pot with water, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum fill line (if indicated) or approximately 2-3 inches from the bottom.
5. Position Juice Collection Pot: Place the middle pot (juice collection pot) on top of the bottom pot. Ensure it sits securely.
6. Attach Hose: Connect the silicone hose to the spigot on the juice collection pot. Secure the clamp onto the hose to prevent premature juice flow.
7. Place Strainer Basket: Position the top pot (strainer basket) on top of the juice collection pot.
8. Place Lid: Cover the top pot with the tempered glass lid.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to extract juice from your chosen fruits or vegetables:

1. Prepare Produce: Wash fruits or vegetables thoroughly. Cut larger items into smaller pieces to maximize surface area for steam extraction. Do not add sugar or water to the fruit basket at this stage.
2. Load Strainer Basket: Place the prepared fruits or vegetables into the top strainer basket. Do not overfill; allow space for steam circulation.
3. Heat Source: Place the assembled steam juicer on a suitable stovetop (gas, electric, ceramic, or induction).
4. Begin Steaming: Turn the stovetop to a medium-high heat setting. The water in the bottom pot will boil, producing steam that rises through the middle pot and into the strainer basket.
5. Juice Collection: As the steam heats the produce, juice will be released and drip into the middle collection pot. The process typically takes 60-90 minutes, depending on the type and ripeness of the produce.
6. Monitor Water Level: Periodically check the water level in the bottom pot. If necessary, carefully add more hot water to prevent it from boiling dry.
7. Drain Juice: Once sufficient juice has collected, release the clamp on the silicone hose and drain the hot juice into heat-proof containers or jars. Re-clamp the hose when finished.
8. Repeat or Finish: You can continue to steam more produce or turn off the heat and allow the juicer to cool before disassembling.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your FOHERE Steam Juice Extractor.

• Cool Down: Always allow the juicer to cool completely before cleaning.
• Disassembly: Disassemble all three pots, the lid, and the silicone hose.
• Washing: All components are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash by hand with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
• Rinsing: Rinse all parts thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
• Drying: Dry all parts completely before storing to prevent water spots or corrosion.
