5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Integrated Lighting System
The vanity mirror features integrated lights with adjustable brightness and color temperature settings.

Figure 5.1: Lighting control panel. This image illustrates the three color temperature options (Warm White, Natural White, Cold White) and the brightness adjustment range (0% to 100%) controlled by a long press on the switch.
- Power On/Off: Press the power button on the control panel to turn the lights on or off.
- Adjust Color Temperature: Briefly press the color temperature button (often indicated by a sun or color icon) to cycle through the available light colors: Warm White (3000K), Natural White (4500K), and Cold White (6000K).
- Adjust Brightness: With the lights on, press and hold the brightness adjustment button (often indicated by '+' and '-' symbols or a single button for long press) to increase or decrease the light intensity. Release the button when the desired brightness is reached.
5.2. Built-in Power Outlet
The vanity desk includes a built-in power strip for convenient access to electrical power.

Figure 5.2: Built-in power strip. This image shows the integrated power strip featuring two standard AC outlets (125V/12A) and two USB ports (5V/2A), along with a 4.9-foot power cord, designed for powering styling tools and charging devices.
- AC Outlets: Plug in your hair dryer, curling iron, or other AC-powered devices into the 125V/12A AC outlets.
- USB Ports: Use the 5V/2A USB ports to charge your mobile phone, tablet, or other USB-powered devices.
- Power Cord: Ensure the vanity desk's main power cord (approximately 4.9 feet long) is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet.
- Do not overload: Avoid plugging in too many high-power devices simultaneously to prevent overloading the circuit.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning the Surface: Wipe the vanity desk surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Mirror Cleaning: Use a glass cleaner and a lint-free cloth for the mirror. Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the mirror, to prevent liquid from seeping into the edges.
- Drawer Maintenance: Periodically check drawer slides for smooth operation. If they become stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied.
- Electrical Components: Ensure all electrical cords are free from kinks or damage. Keep the power outlet clean and free of dust.
- Tighten Hardware: Periodically check and tighten all assembly hardware (screws, bolts) to ensure the desk remains stable.
