Setup and Assembly

This DWVO Vanity Desk requires assembly. It is recommended that two adults assemble this product. Please ensure you have sufficient space and all tools listed in the separate hardware package.

1. Unpacking and Part Identification

1. Carefully open the packaging and remove all components.
2. Lay out all parts on a clean, soft surface (e.g., a blanket or cardboard) to prevent damage.
3. Compare the received parts with the parts list provided in the hardware package to ensure all components are present.
4. Identify all hardware items (screws, dowels, cam locks, etc.) and separate them for easy access.

2. Assembly Steps

Follow the step-by-step diagrams in the separate assembly guide for detailed instructions. General steps include:

• Assemble the main desk frame.
• Install the drawer slides and assemble the four drawers.
• Attach the mirror frame to the desk.
• Install the lighting bulbs into the mirror frame.
• Mount the power strip to the designated location on the desk.
• Assemble the cushioned stool.
• Secure the anti-tip device to the back of the vanity desk and to a wall stud using appropriate hardware.

Note: The mirror measures 31.29" x 20.27". Handle with care during assembly.

Operating Instructions

1. Adjustable Lighting

The vanity mirror features adjustable lighting. Once the desk is fully assembled and plugged into a power outlet:

• Locate the touch sensor or button on the mirror surface or frame.
• Tap once to turn the lights ON/OFF.
• Press and hold the sensor/button to adjust the brightness level. Release when the desired brightness is achieved.
• Some models may offer color temperature adjustment (warm, natural, cool light). Tap repeatedly to cycle through color modes.

2. Power Strip Usage

The integrated power strip provides convenient access to electrical outlets for your styling tools and devices.

• Ensure the vanity desk's main power cord is securely plugged into a wall outlet.
• Plug your devices (e.g., hair dryer, curling iron, phone charger) into the outlets on the power strip.
• Do not overload the power strip. Refer to the power strip's specifications for maximum wattage.

3. Drawer Functionality

The vanity desk includes four drawers for storage. Pull the drawer handles gently to open and push to close. Avoid slamming drawers to ensure longevity of the slides.

Maintenance and Care

1. Cleaning the Desk Surface and Frame

• Wipe surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or polishes that may damage the finish.
• For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and immediately dry with a clean cloth.

2. Mirror Cleaning

• Use a glass cleaner specifically designed for mirrors and a lint-free cloth.
• Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the mirror, to prevent liquid from seeping into the edges or electrical components.
• Wipe gently until clean and streak-free.

3. Cushioned Stool Care

The stool features a faux leather seat material.

• Wipe faux leather with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary.
• Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent material degradation.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting

1. Lights Not Working

• Check Power Connection: Ensure the vanity desk's main power cord is securely plugged into a functional wall outlet.
• Check Bulbs: Verify that all light bulbs are securely screwed into their sockets. Replace any burnt-out bulbs if applicable (refer to bulb type in specifications).
• Touch Sensor: If using a touch sensor, ensure your finger is clean and dry when operating.

2. Power Strip Not Supplying Power

• Main Power: Confirm the vanity desk is plugged into a live wall outlet.
• Circuit Breaker: Check if the power strip has a built-in circuit breaker (often a small button that can be reset). Press to reset if tripped.
• Overload: Unplug some devices from the power strip to ensure it's not overloaded.

3. Drawers Sticking or Not Closing Smoothly

• Check Alignment: Ensure drawers are properly aligned on their slides.
• Obstructions: Remove any items that might be blocking the drawer's path or caught in the slides.
• Hardware: Verify that all screws securing the drawer slides are tight.
