1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Product Overview

3.1 Front Panel Controls

• Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
• CD Tray Open/Close Button: Ejects or retracts the CD tray.
• Mode Button: Switches between CD, FM, Bluetooth, USB, and AUX input modes.

3.2 Rear Panel Connections

4. Setup

4.1 Speaker Connection

1. Connect the speaker cables from the main unit's speaker outputs to the corresponding inputs on each speaker. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
2. Place the speakers on a stable surface, ideally equidistant from the listening position for optimal stereo sound.

4.2 Power Connection

1. Insert the power cord into the AC power input on the rear of the main unit.
2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.

4.3 Remote Control Setup

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert two AAA batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery compartment.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

1. Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the Mode button repeatedly to select your desired input source (CD, FM, Bluetooth, USB, AUX).
3. Adjust the volume using the Volume knob on the front panel or the volume buttons on the remote control.

5.2 CD Playback

1. Press the Mode button to select "CD" mode.
2. Press the CD Tray Open/Close button to open the CD tray.
3. Place a CD (CD/CD-R/CD-RW/MP3) with the label side facing up into the tray.
4. Press the CD Tray Open/Close button again to close the tray. The unit will start playing automatically.
5. Use the Play/Pause, Stop, and Skip/Search buttons to control playback.

5.3 FM Radio Operation

1. Press the Mode button to select "FM" mode.
2. Extend the FM antenna for better reception.
3. Press and hold the Play/Pause button (or Scan button on remote) to automatically scan and store available FM stations (up to 30 stations).
4. Use the Skip/Search buttons to navigate through the stored stations.

5.4 Bluetooth Connection

1. Press the Mode button to select "Bluetooth" mode. The display will show "BT" and start flashing, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "LONPOO LP-609" from the list. Once connected, the "BT" indicator will stop flashing.
4. You can now play audio from your Bluetooth device through the stereo system. (Note: Bluetooth earphones are not supported).

5.5 USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive (up to 64GB, formatted as FAT32) containing MP3/WMA audio files into the USB port on the front panel.
2. Press the Mode button to select "USB" mode. The unit will automatically detect and start playing audio files from the USB drive.
3. Use the Play/Pause, Stop, and Skip/Search buttons to control playback.

5.6 AUX Input

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN jack on the rear panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
2. Press the Mode button to select "AUX" mode.
3. Play audio from your connected device. The sound will be output through the stereo system.

5.7 Headphone Listening

Plug 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack on the front panel for private listening. The main speakers will be muted automatically.

5.8 Advanced Playback Features (Remote Control)

• Treble/Bass Adjustment: Use the dedicated Treble and Bass buttons on the remote to fine-tune the sound to your preference.
• Repeat Modes:
  • Repeat One: Repeats the current track.
  • Repeat All: Repeats all tracks on the disc/USB.
  • Random Play: Plays tracks in a random order.
• Resume Playback: The unit will resume playback from the last stopped position when a disc or USB is re-inserted or playback is resumed (does not apply if the Stop button was pressed).

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches.
• Ventilation: Ensure the unit has adequate ventilation. Do not block any vents.
• Storage: If not used for a long period, unplug the unit and store it in a cool, dry place.
