Setup
Assembly
The Magnetic Fluid Pickup comes with two main assembly parts. To assemble, align the sealing protrusion of one part with the gap of the inner ring rubber ring on the other part. Gently press them together until they are securely connected.

Charging
The device is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge, connect the provided Type-C cable to the charging port on the device and the other end to a 5V 1A power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter or computer USB port). The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging. A full charge provides approximately 6-8 hours of continuous operation.
Operating Modes
The Fabater Ferrofluid Speaker Music Mate offers two operating modes: Sound-Pickup Mode and AUX Mode.
1. Sound-Pickup Mode
In this mode, the device's advanced built-in microphone captures ambient sound vibrations and translates them into dynamic movements of the ferrofluid. Simply place the device near your audio source (e.g., a speaker playing music) and power it on. The ferrofluid will dance in response to the sound. Note: This device does not emit sound itself; it is a visualizer only.
2. AUX Mode

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
- Ferrofluid not moving: Ensure the device is powered on and charged. Check if the audio source is playing and the volume is sufficient in Sound-Pickup mode, or if the AUX cable is securely connected in AUX mode.
- Device not charging: Verify that the Type-C cable is properly connected to both the device and a working 5V 1A power source. Try a different cable or power adapter.
- Intermittent ferrofluid movement: This could be due to low battery. Recharge the device. Also, ensure there are no strong electromagnetic interferences nearby.
