Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the USB charging port (6) on the rangefinder and to a standard USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge allows for approximately 20,000 measurements.

2. Attaching the Lanyard

Attach the included lanyard to the designated loop on the rangefinder to prevent accidental drops during use.

3. Adjusting Focus

Look through the eyepiece (7) and rotate the focus adjustment ring (1) until the view is clear and sharp for your eyesight.

Operating Instructions

Basic Measurement Steps

1. Power On: Press the Power/Measurement button (2) located on the front of the device. The display will activate inside the viewfinder.
2. Select Mode: Press the MODE button (3) repeatedly to cycle through the available measurement modes until you reach your desired mode.
3. Aim at Target: Look through the viewfinder and align the target mark (crosshairs) precisely with your desired target.
4. Measure Distance: Press the Power/Measurement button (2) again to initiate the distance measurement. The measured distance will be displayed instantly.

Measurement Modes

The FOSSiBOT C1000F offers five distinct measurement modes:

1. 3-Point Distance Measurement Mode

This mode allows you to measure two distances from a remote point (e.g., your golf cart) to an intermediate target (e.g., your ball) and then from that intermediate target to the final target (e.g., the pin). This is useful for strategic play and assisting others.

2. Pin Lock Mode

When multiple objects are in the line of sight, this mode intelligently identifies and locks onto the nearest target, typically the flagstick. The device will vibrate to confirm the pin lock, ensuring you get the correct distance to the pin.

3. Slope Mode

This mode measures the actual distance to the target and then calculates an adjusted distance, taking into account the elevation difference (slope) between your position and the target. This provides a more accurate
