- USB-C Wired Mode: Connect the braided USB-C cable to the keyboard and your computer. The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.
- Wireless 2.4GHz Mode: Insert the 2.4GHz USB dongle into an available USB port on your computer. Switch the keyboard to 2.4G mode. The keyboard should connect automatically.
- Bluetooth 5.2 Mode: Switch the keyboard to BT mode. On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "MONTECH MKey PRO" to pair.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, remove keycaps and use compressed air to clear debris. Avoid liquid cleaners directly on switches or electronics.
- Keycap Removal: Use a keycap puller to gently remove keycaps. Pull straight up to avoid damaging the switch stem.
- Switch Replacement: Use the provided switch puller to carefully remove switches. Align new switches correctly with the pins before pressing them into the hot-swap sockets.
- Battery Care: For wireless modes, ensure the keyboard is charged regularly using the USB-C cable. Avoid fully depleting the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.
Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding:
- Ensure the correct connectivity mode (2.4G, BT, USB) is selected via the switch on the back.
- Check USB-C cable connection for wired mode.
- For 2.4GHz, ensure the dongle is properly inserted and the keyboard is in range.
- For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired and within range. Try re-pairing if necessary.
- Check battery level and charge if low.
- Keys not registering or double-typing:
- This may indicate a faulty switch. Utilize the hot-swappable feature to replace the affected switch.
- Ensure keycaps are seated correctly.
- Wireless connection issues (lag/disconnections):
- Ensure the keyboard is close to the receiver (dongle or Bluetooth device).
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, other 2.4GHz devices).
- Ensure the keyboard battery is sufficiently charged.
- RGB lighting not working:
- Check the keyboard's lighting settings using the multi-functional knob or VIA/QMK software.
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on and charged.
