1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using your OVENTE Smokeless Indoor Electric Grill. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious personal injury.

Always unplug the appliance from the outlet after use and before cleaning.

2. Product Components

3. Setup Instructions

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and all parts are clean. Wash removable parts (lid, grill/griddle plates, drip tray) with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.

Place the Main Base: Position the main base unit on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
Insert Water Tray: Slide the water tray into the designated slot at the bottom of the main base. Fill the water tray with approximately 2 cups of water. This is crucial for the smokeless function.
Place Heating Element: Carefully place the heating element assembly into the base, ensuring it sits securely.
Select Cooking Plate: Choose either the grill plate or the griddle plate and place it on top of the heating element.
Attach Lid: Place the tempered glass lid on top of the cooking plate.
Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the appliance's port and then into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The OVENTE SGR85W features a user-friendly one-touch control panel with an LED smart display.

Power On: Press the 'Power' button to turn on the grill. The LED display will illuminate.
Set Temperature: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the desired cooking temperature. The temperature range is 212°F to 446°F. The display will show the current temperature.
Activate Fan: Press the 'Fan' button to activate the smoke-extracting fan. It is recommended to keep the fan on during cooking for optimal smokeless performance.
Preheat: Allow the grill to preheat until it reaches the set temperature. The display will indicate when it's ready.
Add Food: Carefully place food onto the preheated grill or griddle plate. Close the lid to maintain temperature and contain smoke.
Monitor Cooking: The transparent tempered glass lid allows you to monitor your food without lifting the lid, preserving heat and smoke containment.
Adjust as Needed: Adjust temperature or cooking time as required for your specific recipe.
Power Off: Once cooking is complete, turn off the fan and then the power button. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your grill. Always unplug the grill and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

Removable Parts: The non-stick grill/griddle plates, tempered glass lid, and drip tray are all removable and dishwasher safe. For best results, wash them in warm, soapy water or place them in the dishwasher.
Main Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main base unit, power cord, or heating element in water or any other liquid.
Heating Element: The heating element should not be immersed in water. If necessary, gently wipe it with a damp cloth after it has completely cooled.
Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing. The base detaches and nests for compact storage.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your OVENTE Smokeless Indoor Electric Grill, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
