Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your recliner.
Leather Care
- Regular Cleaning: Dust the leather regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For light cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth and then dry immediately.
- Spills: Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth. Do not rub. For stubborn stains, consult a professional leather cleaning service.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause leather to fade and dry out. Position your recliner away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid Heat Sources: Keep the recliner away from heat sources like radiators or fireplaces, which can dry and crack the leather.
- Conditioning: Periodically condition the leather with a reputable leather conditioner to keep it supple and prevent cracking. Follow the product manufacturer's instructions.
Mechanism Care
- Lubrication: The reclining mechanism is designed for long-term use and typically does not require lubrication. If you notice squeaking or stiffness, contact customer support.
- Inspections: Periodically inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If damaged, discontinue use and contact customer support for replacement.
