1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Retevis RB58 Flagship Business Walkie Talkies. 3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

The RB58 walkie talkies come with 1800mAh Lithium-Ion batteries. Before first use, ensure the batteries are fully charged.

1. Align the battery with the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
2. Gently push the battery into place until it clicks securely.
3. To charge, connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the radio's charging port and then to a compatible USB power adapter.
4. The charging indicator on the radio will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 4-5 hours.

3.2 Initial Power On

After installing and charging the battery, turn the power/volume knob clockwise to power on the radio. Adjust the knob to set the desired volume level.

3.3 APP Customization

The RB58 supports customization via an Android application. This allows for flexible channel settings and compatibility adjustments.

• Download the official RETEVIS APP from the Android app store.
• Connect your RB58 radio to your Android device via Bluetooth.
• Use the APP to configure channel settings, adjust parameters, and manage compatibility issues.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Communication

To transmit, press and hold the Push-to-Talk (PTT) button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to receive.

4.2 Channel Selection

The RB58 features 256 customizable channels. Use the radio's menu or the RETEVIS APP to select and manage channels. Ensure all radios in your group are on the same channel for communication.

4.3 Group Call

The one-key group call feature allows for instant team-wide alerts and enhanced coordination. Refer to the APP customization section for setting up group call functions.

4.4 VOX (Voice-Activated Transmission)

The VOX function enables hands-free communication. When activated, the radio transmits automatically when it detects your voice, eliminating the need to press the PTT button.
