1. Product Overview

The OBSBOT Tiny SE is an advanced AI-powered PTZ webcam designed for high-quality video communication and content creation. It features 1080P resolution at 100 frames per second (FPS), intelligent tracking capabilities, and intuitive gesture controls.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Package Contents

2.2 Physical Installation

The OBSBOT Tiny SE can be easily mounted on top of your computer monitor or laptop screen using its integrated clip. For alternative setups, a 1/4-inch thread is located on the bottom of the device, allowing for tripod mounting.

2.3 Connectivity

Connect the webcam to your computer using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable. An additional USB-A to USB-C adapter is included for broader compatibility with various USB ports.

2.4 Software Installation

The OBSBOT Tiny SE is plug-and-play, meaning it will be recognized by your operating system as a standard webcam. For basic functionality, no additional software is required. However, to unlock its full potential, including fine-tuning controls and firmware updates, download the optional OBSBOT Center App from the official OBSBOT website.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 AI Tracking

The OBSBOT Tiny SE features advanced AI human tracking, allowing the camera to automatically follow your movements and keep you centered in the frame. This is ideal for dynamic presentations or active streaming sessions.

Tracking Modes:

• Normal Tracking: Standard human tracking.
• Upper Body: Tracks the upper half of your body.
• Close-up: Zooms in on your face for a tighter shot.
• Headless: Tracks your body while keeping your head out of frame.
• Lower Body: Tracks the lower half of your body.
• Zone Tracking: Customize specific tracking and non-tracking areas within the frame.

3.2 Gesture Control

Control key functions of the webcam using simple hand gestures:

• Lock/Unlock Target: Make an open palm gesture towards the camera to start or stop AI tracking.
• Zoom In/Out: Form an 'L' shape with one hand near your face to toggle digital zoom.
• Dynamic Zoom: Form 'L' shapes with both hands and move them closer or further apart to dynamically adjust the zoom level.

3.3 Customizable Presets

The OBSBOT Center App allows you to set multiple preset positions for the camera. Each preset can have customized parameters and AI tracking modes, enabling seamless scene switching.

3.4 Image and Audio Settings

Utilize the OBSBOT Center App to fine-tune your video and audio output:

• Video Resolution: Supports 1080P at 100FPS and 720P at 150FPS for smooth, clear video.
• Low Light Performance: Equipped with a 1/2.8” Stacked CMOS sensor, Dual Native ISO, 2.9 µm Pixels Size, and Staggered HDR for excellent video quality in various lighting conditions.
• Auto Focus: Choose between Global focus (focuses on the entire scene) or Face focus (prioritizes your face).
• Exposure: Manually adjust shutter speed and ISO for optimal brightness.
• White Balance: Automatic or manual adjustment for accurate color representation.
• Noise Reduction: Built-in microphones offer Weak, Medium, and Strong noise reduction settings.
• Radio Distance: Adjust microphone pickup range (Close, Standard, Far) for different environments.

3.5 Shooting Modes

The webcam supports various shooting orientations, automatically adjusting the screen based on the machine's placement:

• Horizontal
• Portrait
• Upside-down

3.6 Privacy Features

For enhanced privacy, the OBSBOT Tiny SE can be configured to automatically point its head downwards when not in use. You can set the sleep time delay (e.g., 30s, 1min, 2min, 10min) before it enters this privacy mode.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Focus Issues

If the camera struggles to focus on small objects, ensure the 'Auto Focus Mode' in the OBSBOT Center App is set to 'Global' instead of 'Face'. This allows the camera to focus on the entire scene rather than prioritizing a face.

6.2 HDR Limitations

When enabling HDR, the frame rate will be limited to 60FPS at 1080P/720P resolutions. If you experience overexposure or underexposure with HDR enabled, adjust the 'Compensation' slider or manually configure 'Shutter Speed' and 'ISO' settings in the OBSBOT Center App for optimal results.

6.3 Green Screen Pixelation

Pixelation issues with a green screen are often due to insufficient or uneven lighting. Ensure your green screen is well-lit to allow the software to effectively remove the background.
