5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle
- Ensure the BUVAYE LD12 unit has at least 50% battery charge.
- Insert the smart jumper cable plug into the jump starter port. The red and green indicators on the smart cable will flash alternately.
- Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal. The smart cable indicator will turn solid green if connected correctly. If it shows red, check connections for reverse polarity.
- Start your vehicle. If the engine does not start successfully, disconnect the smart cable, wait for at least 1 minute, and try again.
- Once the vehicle is started, remove the jumper cables from the car battery and the jump starter within 30 seconds.

6. Maintenance
- Regular Charging: Charge the jump starter every two months if it is not used for a long period to maintain battery health and longevity.
- Cool Down Period: If the unit becomes very hot during continuous operation (e.g., prolonged tire inflation), allow it to cool for 10 minutes before further use.
- Optimal Battery Level: For best jump-starting efficiency, keep the battery power above 50%.
- Storage: Store the unit in its EVA carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the unit is sufficiently charged. Connect to a power source and allow it to charge.
- Vehicle not starting: Check that the smart jumper cables are correctly connected (red to positive, black to negative). If the indicator light is red, correct the polarity. If the battery is extremely low, press the BOOST button on the smart cable (if available and indicated by the manual) and try again after 1 minute.
- Air compressor not inflating: Verify the inflatable hose is securely screwed onto the unit and attached to the tire valve. Check that the unit is powered on and the desired PSI is set.
- Device overheating: Stop use immediately and allow the unit to cool down for at least 10 minutes before resuming operation.
