Setup

1. Speaker Connection

Connect the passive speaker to the active speaker using the provided speaker cable. Ensure the red wire connects to the positive (+) terminal and the black wire connects to the negative (-) terminal on both speakers.

2. Power Connection

Plug the 12V5A power adapter into the DC 12V IN port on the active speaker, then connect the adapter to a power outlet.

3. Mounting

The speakers come with adjustable angle wall mount brackets. Secure the brackets to a suitable surface using appropriate hardware (not included). Attach the speakers to the brackets, adjusting the angle as needed for optimal sound projection.

4. Initial Power On

Once connected to power, the speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing mode.

Operating Instructions

1. Bluetooth Pairing

With the speaker powered on, activate Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other compatible device. Search for "Herdio Speaker" in the list of available devices and select it to pair. A successful connection will be indicated by an audible prompt.

2. TWS Stereo Pairing (True Wireless Stereo)

To achieve true wireless stereo sound with two Herdio speakers:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one of the active speakers, short press the "TWS/Reset" button. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. A confirmation tone will indicate successful TWS pairing.
4. Once TWS is established, connect your Bluetooth device to one of the speakers (it will appear as a single device). Audio will now play in stereo across both speakers.

3. Audio Playback

After successful pairing, begin playing audio from your connected device. The speakers will reproduce the sound. Volume control can be managed via your connected device or the speaker's touch controls (if applicable).
