Important Safety Instructions

Setup

2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the drying trays and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
3. Assembly:
   • Place the base unit on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
   • Stack the desired number of drying trays onto the base unit. The trays are designed to fit securely.
   • Place the lid on top of the uppermost tray.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

Operating Instructions

1. Preparing Food for Dehydration:

• Wash and prepare your food items (e.g., slice fruits, vegetables, meat). Ensure slices are uniform in thickness for even drying.
• Arrange food in a single layer on the drying trays, ensuring air can circulate freely around each piece. Do not overlap food.

2. Adjusting Tray Height (Modular Design):

The dehydrator features a modular design allowing you to adjust the height between trays. This is useful for accommodating different food sizes. Two different heights (1.5 cm - 2.5 cm) are adjustable between individual trays. Simply rotate the trays to align the desired height settings.

3. Using the Control Panel:

• Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit on or off.
• Temperature Button (☼): Press to select temperature adjustment mode. The LED display will show the current temperature.
• Up/Down Buttons (▲ / ▼): Use these buttons to increase or decrease the temperature (range: 30°C to 70°C) or time.
• Timer Button (⏱): Press to select timer adjustment mode. The LED display will show the remaining time.
• Start/Pause Button (⏸): Press to start or pause the dehydration process.

4. Setting Temperature and Time:

1. Press the Power button to turn on the dehydrator.
2. Press the Temperature button. Use the Up/Down buttons to set your desired temperature between 30°C and 70°C.
3. Press the Timer button. Use the Up/Down buttons to set your desired drying time between 0.5 and 48 hours.
4. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the dehydration process. The display will show the remaining time.

5. During Operation:

The dehydrator operates quietly, making it suitable for use even at night. Periodically check the food for desired dryness. Drying times vary based on food type, thickness, and moisture content.

6. After Dehydration:

Once the drying cycle is complete or food is adequately dehydrated, press the Power button to turn off the unit and unplug it from the wall outlet. Allow the unit and food to cool before handling.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Always unplug the dehydrator and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• The drying trays and lid are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
• Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on any part of the dehydrator.
