5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter has at least 50% charge before attempting to jump start a vehicle.

  1. Connect Jumper Cables: Insert the smart jumper cable connector into the jump starter's port.
  2. Attach Clamps: Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  3. Check Indicator: Observe the indicator lights and listen for beeps on the smart clamp. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to start. If an error is indicated (e.g., flashing red, beeping), disconnect and re-evaluate the connection.
  4. Start Vehicle: Once the green light is solid, start your vehicle's engine. If the engine does not start immediately, wait 30 seconds before trying again. If the battery voltage is extremely low, press the 'BOOST' button on the jump starter for an enhanced start.
  5. Remove Clamps: After the vehicle starts, immediately remove the black negative (-) clamp, then the red positive (+) clamp, and finally disconnect the jumper cables from the jump starter.

  3. Set Pressure: Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the jump starter to set the desired pressure (PSI, BAR, or KPA). Refer to your vehicle's manual or tire sidewall for recommended tire pressure.
  4. Start Inflation: Press the power button to begin inflation. The device will automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached.
  5. Disconnect: Once inflation is complete, disconnect the tube from the tire/item and then from the jump starter.
