4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the AIPOWAY jump starter. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the device's Type-C port and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The digital display will show the charging progress. A full charge is indicated by 100% on the display.
- It is recommended to fully charge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain battery health, even when not in use.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Jump Starting a Vehicle
Ensure the jump starter has at least 50% charge before attempting to jump start a vehicle.
- Connect Jumper Cables: Insert the smart jumper cable connector into the jump starter's port.
- Attach Clamps: Connect the red positive (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery. Connect the black negative (-) clamp to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery.
- Check Indicator: Observe the indicator lights and listen for beeps on the smart clamp. A solid green light indicates a correct connection and readiness to start. If an error is indicated (e.g., flashing red, beeping), disconnect and re-evaluate the connection.
