4. Setup Instructions
- Assemble the Cross Base: Attach the cross base frame components using the provided hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
- Weight the Base: The umbrella includes two sandbags for stability. Each sandbag is recommended to be filled with 80 pounds of sand, for a total of 160 pounds. Each sandbag can hold a maximum of 100 pounds. Sand is not included. Place the filled sandbags onto the cross base frame and cover with the oxford cover.
- Attach the Umbrella Pole: Insert the main umbrella pole into the center of the weighted base. Secure it according to the instructions provided with the hardware.
- Attach the Canopy: Carefully attach the umbrella canopy to the frame. Ensure all ribs are properly connected and secured.

5. Operating Instructions
Opening and Closing the Umbrella
- To Open: Locate the crank handle on the umbrella pole. Turn the crank clockwise to smoothly open the umbrella canopy. Continue until the canopy is fully extended.
- To Close: Turn the crank handle counter-clockwise to retract the umbrella canopy. Once fully closed, secure the canopy with the integrated fastening strap to keep it neat and protected.

Tilt Adjustment
The umbrella features an infinite tilt adjustment mechanism, allowing you to angle the canopy up to 45 degrees to block the sun at various times of the day.
- To Adjust Tilt: Locate the tilt lock mechanism on the umbrella arm. Loosen the lock, adjust the canopy to your desired angle, and then securely tighten the lock to hold the position.
