Operating Instructions
Basic Measurement
To take a measurement:
- Ensure the caliper is powered on and zeroed.
- Open the jaws and position the object to be measured between them.

- Read the measurement directly from the LCD display.
Measurement Modes
The caliper supports multiple measurement modes. Press the MODE button to cycle through them:
- Inch (in): Displays measurements in decimal inches.
- Metric (mm): Displays measurements in millimeters.
- Fractional (in 1/X): Displays measurements in fractional inches (e.g., 1/16, 1/32, 1/128).

Absolute Origin Feature
The caliper features an absolute origin function. Once zeroed, the caliper remembers its zero point even when powered off. When powered back on, it will display the correct measurement relative to the last set zero, eliminating the need to re-zero for each use unless desired.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain accuracy and prolong the life of your caliper:
- Wipe the measuring surfaces and body with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth after each use.
- Avoid using solvents or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the display or finish.
- Ensure no dust or debris accumulates on the measuring scale or inside the sliding mechanism.
Storage
When not in use, store the caliper in its provided protective case in a dry, temperature-controlled environment. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
