Setup

1. Attaching the Stand Feet

If you are not wall-mounting the TV, attach the stand feet as follows:

  1. Carefully place the TV screen-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.
  2. Align each stand foot with the corresponding screw holes on the bottom of the TV.
  3. Secure each foot with the provided screws. Ensure they are tightened firmly.

2. Connecting Cables

Connect your devices to the TV's input ports. Refer to the image below for port locations.

  • Power: Connect the AC power cord to the TV's power input and then to a wall outlet.
  • HDMI Devices: Connect Blu-ray players, game consoles, or set-top boxes to the HDMI ports (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3). HDMI 1 supports ARC (Audio Return Channel).
  • Antenna/Cable: Connect an antenna or cable TV coaxial cable to the ANT/CABLE input.
  • USB Devices: For media playback, connect USB drives to the USB ports.
  • Network: For wired internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port. Alternatively, use Wi-Fi for wireless connectivity.

3. Initial Power-On and Setup Wizard

After connecting all necessary cables, plug in the TV and press the power button on the remote control.

  1. The TV will guide you through the initial setup wizard.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and sign in to your Fire TV account.

  • Alexa Voice Control: Use the Voice Remote to quickly find shows, launch apps, change channels, and control compatible smart home devices by speaking commands. For example, "Alexa, open Netflix" or "Alexa, show me live camera feeds."
  • Smart Home Integration: Pair your TV with compatible smart home devices to view camera feeds, control lighting, and adjust thermostats directly from your TV.

Picture and Sound Enhancements

  • 4K AI Upscaler: This feature automatically enhances non-4K content (including older movies, TV broadcasts, and streaming content) to near-4K quality, providing improved clarity and detail.
  • Game Mode: Designed for an optimized gaming experience, Game Mode combines technologies like a 60Hz panel and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) to reduce input lag and ensure smooth gameplay with next-generation consoles.

Maintenance

Cleaning Your TV

  • Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Do not spray liquid directly onto the screen.
  • Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the TV's frame and stand. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TV, refer to the following common solutions:

Remote control not working.

Cannot connect to Wi-Fi.
  • Ensure your Wi-Fi router is on and functioning.

TV defaults to Fire TV, not HDMI input.

Compatibility issues with Spectrum.
  • Ensure your Spectrum cable box is properly connected via HDMI.
  • Verify that the TV's input is set to the correct HDMI port for the cable box.
