Safety Information

  • Ensure the tension pole is securely installed between the floor and ceiling or tub and ceiling. An unstable installation can lead to the caddy falling.
  • Do not overload shelves. Each shelf is designed to hold up to 7.5 lbs (3.4 kg). Exceeding this limit may cause the caddy to become unstable or shelves to detach.
  • Keep small children and pets away from the caddy during assembly to prevent injury from falling parts.
  • Regularly check the tension and stability of the pole. Re-adjust if it feels loose.
  • Avoid hanging heavy items on the towel bars that could compromise stability.

Package Contents

Verify that all components are present before beginning assembly:

  • Tension Pole Sections (various lengths for adjustment)
  • 4 Adjustable Shelves with Integrated Towel Bars
  • End Caps (for top and bottom of pole)
  • Shelf Collars/Adjusters
  • Assembly Hardware (if applicable, typically internal spring mechanism)

Setup and Assembly

The Zenna Home Tension Pole Shower Caddy is designed for tool-free assembly. Follow these steps for a secure installation.

1. Determine Height and Assemble Pole

Measure the height of your shower space (from floor to ceiling or tub edge to ceiling). The caddy adjusts from 60 inches (5 feet) to 97 inches (8.1 feet). Select the appropriate pole sections to achieve the desired height. You may need to remove or add sections. Ensure the internal spring mechanism is correctly seated within the pole sections.

2. Install Shelves

Slide the shelf collars onto the pole sections at your desired heights. Place a shelf onto each collar, ensuring it is level and secure. The shelves can be adjusted vertically at any time after installation.

3. Position and Secure the Caddy

Once the pole is assembled and shelves are in place, compress the top section of the pole slightly and position the caddy in the corner of your shower. Release the pole, allowing the internal spring to create tension between the floor/tub and ceiling. Ensure the caddy is vertical and stable. Adjust the tension by twisting the pole sections if necessary until it is firmly secured.

Operating and Usage

Your Zenna Home Shower Caddy is designed for efficient organization of your bath essentials.

Adjusting Shelves

To adjust the height of a shelf, simply lift the shelf slightly, slide the collar up or down the pole to the desired position, and then lower the shelf back onto the collar, ensuring it locks into place securely.

Utilizing Towel Bars

Each shelf includes integrated towel bars. These are suitable for hanging washcloths, loofahs, or small towels, keeping them within easy reach and allowing them to air dry.

Weight Capacity

Each shelf can support up to 7.5 lbs (3.4 kg). Distribute items evenly to maintain stability.

Multi-Purpose Use

This caddy is versatile and can be used in various spaces beyond the shower, such as tubs or closets, to organize essentials.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Zenna Home Shower Caddy:

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the caddy regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the satin nickel finish.
  • Drying: The open-wire design promotes quick drying. Ensure proper ventilation in your shower area to prevent mildew buildup.
  • Rust Resistance: The satin nickel finish is designed to resist rust. However, prolonged exposure to standing water or harsh chemicals can affect its integrity. Dry the caddy after cleaning to maintain its finish.

Troubleshooting

Caddy feels wobbly or unstable:
Ensure the tension pole is fully extended and securely wedged between the floor/tub and ceiling. Twist the pole sections to increase tension if needed. Verify that the end caps are properly seated and providing good grip.
Shelves are not level or slide down:
Check that the shelf collars are correctly installed and tightened (if applicable) or securely locked into position on the pole. Ensure no excessive weight is placed on the shelves.
Difficulty assembling pole sections:
Ensure all internal components, such as the spring, are correctly aligned. Refer to the installation videos for visual guidance on connecting pole sections.
