4. Setup
4.1 Charging
The charging case has a 3000mAh internal battery, providing up to 18 hours of power for the system. The transmitters and receiver each have approximately 6 hours of battery life and can be recharged individually via USB-C or by placing them in the charging case.
4.2 Powering On/Off
Transmitters and receiver automatically power on when removed from the charging case. To manually power on/off, press and hold the power button on each unit.
4.3 Pairing
The system comes pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is necessary, place both transmitters and the receiver in the charging case for 5 seconds. Alternatively, manually power on all units outside the case, then navigate to the pairing menu on the receiver and select 'Pairing'. The blue light on the transmitters will become solid when successfully paired.
4.4 Connecting to Devices
4.4.1 Smartphones (iPhone/Android)
Attach the appropriate Lightning or USB-C adapter to the receiver's twist-lock port. Plug the receiver directly into your smartphone. The Saramonic app can be used for advanced settings and monitoring.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Output Modes
The receiver's touchscreen allows you to select various output modes:
- Mono: Combines audio from both transmitters into a single mono track.
- Stereo: Separates audio from each transmitter into distinct left and right channels, ideal for multi-person interviews or post-production flexibility.
- Safety: Records a primary mono track and a secondary mono track at -12dB, providing a backup against audio clipping.
- Headset: Allows connection of a headset or a third microphone via TRRS to the receiver's output (when connected to a phone/computer).
- Headphone: Enables headphone monitoring through the receiver's output.
5.2 Adjusting Levels (Gain & Volume)
Use the control wheel on the receiver to adjust input gain for each transmitter and the overall output volume. The touchscreen display provides visual feedback on audio levels. Auto Gain is available to automatically adjust input levels.
5.3 Recording
Transmitters feature onboard recording. You can enable 'Auto Recording' for automatic recording upon power-on. Select between 32-bit float recording (for maximum dynamic range and post-production flexibility) or 24-bit recording.
5.4 Noise Cancellation
The system includes 'ClearVoice' technology with 3 levels of intelligent noise cancellation. This can be activated via the transmitter's 'NC' button or through the Saramonic app. A low-cut filter is also available to eliminate low-frequency rumbles.
5.5 Timecode Sync
The transmitters support timecode synchronization, ensuring precise audio-video alignment in post-production. Frame rate and running modes (Free Run/Real-time) can be configured on the receiver or via the app.
