3.2 Blade Installation
- Ensure the saw is disconnected from its power source (battery removed).
- Lift the blade guard and locate the arbor bolt.
- Use the provided blade wrench to loosen and remove the arbor bolt.
- Place the new 10-inch blade onto the arbor, ensuring the teeth are pointing downwards towards the table.
- Re-install the arbor bolt and tighten securely with the blade wrench.
- Lower the blade guard to its original position.
3.3 Securing the Saw
For stable and safe operation, the miter saw should be securely mounted to a workbench or a miter saw stand. Use appropriate bolts or clamps through the mounting holes in the saw's base.
4. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the saw's controls and functions before making any cuts.
4.1 Powering the Saw
Insert a fully charged M18 REDLITHIUM battery pack into the battery port until it clicks into place. The saw is battery-powered, ensuring portability.

4.2 Adjusting Miter Angles
- Loosen the miter lock handle.
- Press the miter detent override lever (if applicable) and rotate the turntable to the desired angle. The cam locking miter system features 11 detent locations for common angles.
- Tighten the miter lock handle to secure the angle.
4.3 Adjusting Bevel Angles
- Locate the easy-access bevel lever.
- Release the bevel lock and tilt the saw head to the desired bevel angle. The dual bevel system offers 9 detents.
- Secure the bevel lever.
4.4 Making a Cut
- Position the workpiece firmly against the fence. Use the material clamp if necessary.
- Align the shadow cut line indicator with your desired cut line.
- Depress the trigger to start the saw. Allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the material.
- Slowly lower the saw head through the material. For sliding cuts, push the saw head forward through the material.
- Once the cut is complete, release the trigger and allow the blade to stop completely before raising the saw head.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your miter saw. Always disconnect the battery before performing any maintenance.
5.1 Cleaning
- After each use, clear sawdust and debris from the saw, especially around the blade guard, motor vents, and sliding rails.
- Use a soft brush or compressed air. Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals.
- Empty the dust bag regularly to maintain efficient dust collection.
5.2 Blade Care
- Inspect the blade regularly for sharpness, cracks, or missing teeth. A dull blade can cause kickback and poor cut quality.
