The HODIK H2T2 is a wireless sensor designed to monitor temperature and humidity. It features a compact design suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, offering a remote range of up to 330 feet and a transmission frequency of 30 seconds.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the sensor unit.
2. Slide or unclip the cover to open it.
3. Insert the required batteries (typically AA or AAA, refer to the battery compartment label for exact type and polarity) ensuring correct orientation (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: Batteries are not included with the sensor unit and must be purchased separately.

4.2 Pairing with Main Unit

The HODIK H2T2 sensor uses Bluetooth connectivity to communicate with compatible main weather station units (H2, H7, HD2, HD1). Follow the pairing instructions provided with your main weather station unit to establish a connection. Typically, this involves:

1. Powering on both the sensor and the main unit.
2. Initiating a sensor search or pairing mode on the main unit.
3. The sensor will automatically transmit data once paired.

4.3 Mounting the Sensor

The sensor is designed for wall mounting. Choose a location that provides accurate readings and is within the 330ft remote range of your main unit. Avoid direct sunlight, rain, or extreme heat sources for outdoor placement. Use appropriate screws or adhesive (not included) to secure the sensor via its integrated mounting hole.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

The sensor typically powers on automatically once batteries are inserted. There is no manual power button. To power off, remove the batteries.

5.2 Data Transmission

The HODIK H2T2 sensor transmits temperature and humidity data to the main unit approximately every 30 seconds. Ensure the sensor is within the 330ft remote range for continuous data reception.

5.3 Temperature and Humidity Display

The sensor features a small LCD display that shows the current temperature and humidity readings directly on the unit. The temperature can be displayed in either Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C). A small button or switch inside the battery compartment or on the side of the unit may allow you to toggle between these units. The humidity is displayed as a percentage (%).

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean the sensor, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the unit in water. Keep the ventilation openings clear of dust and debris.

6.2 Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator on your main unit or the sensor's display shows low power, replace the batteries promptly. Refer to section 4.1 for battery installation instructions. Always replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.

• No Reading on Main Unit:
      - Check if batteries are correctly installed in the sensor and main unit.
      - Ensure the sensor is within the 330ft transmission range of the main unit.
      - Re-pair the sensor with the main unit according to your main unit's instructions.
      - Avoid major obstructions (thick walls, metal objects) between the sensor and main unit.
• Inaccurate Readings:
      - Ensure the sensor is not exposed to direct sunlight, heat sources, or excessive moisture.
      - Verify that the sensor's ventilation openings are not blocked.
• Intermittent Connectivity:
      - Relocate the sensor or main unit to improve signal strength.
      - Replace batteries in both units.
