Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the camera's side latches and swing open the front cover.
- Locate the battery compartment at the bottom of the camera.
- Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated. The camera can operate with only 4 batteries in one side, but 8 are recommended for extended use.
- Close the battery compartment securely.

2. SD Card Installation
- With the camera open, locate the SD card slot on the side.
- Insert the provided 32GB SD card (or your own, up to 128GB) into the slot until it clicks into place.
- It is recommended to format the SD card before first use via the camera's menu.

3. Mounting the Camera
The camera can be mounted using the included strap or a standard tripod mount.
- Strap Mounting: Thread the provided strap through the slots on the back of the camera and secure it around a tree or post.
- Tripod Mounting: Use the 1/4"-20 threaded insert at the bottom of the camera to attach it to a tripod or compatible mounting bracket.

Operating Instructions
Power Modes
The camera has three power modes controlled by a switch inside the casing:
- OFF: Camera is powered off.
- TEST: Allows access to the menu, settings, and manual photo/video capture. The LCD screen is active in this mode.
- ON: Camera is in active monitoring mode. The LCD screen turns off, and the camera will capture photos/videos based on motion detection.
Menu Navigation and Settings
In TEST mode, use the control buttons to navigate and adjust settings:
- MENU: Enters/exits the main menu.
- UP/DOWN: Navigates through menu options.
- OK: Confirms selection or enters sub-menus.
- MODE: Switches between Photo, Video, and Photo+Video capture modes.
Setting Date and Time: Access this option in the menu to ensure accurate timestamps on your recordings.
Capture Modes
- Photo Mode: Captures still images when motion is detected.
- Video Mode: Records video clips when motion is detected.
- Photo+Video Mode: Captures a still image followed by a video clip.
Sensitivity Settings
Adjust the PIR sensor sensitivity (Low, Medium, High) in the menu to prevent false triggers from small movements like swaying branches or to ensure capture of smaller animals.
Viewing and Deleting Footage
In TEST mode, you can review captured photos and videos directly on the LCD screen. You can also delete unwanted files from the SD card through the menu.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the camera lens and PIR sensors with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear images and proper motion detection.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 8 AA batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the screen or when performance degrades.
