Setup and Assembly

Please follow these instructions carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for easier setup.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all components listed in the parts diagram (not provided in this manual, refer to your product packaging) are present and undamaged.
2. Assemble the Rolling Stand: Begin by assembling the base frame of the stand. Attach the four industrial casters to the bottom of the stand legs. Secure the lower storage shelf to the stand frame.
3. Assemble Cage Panels: Connect the side, front, and back panels of the cage. Ensure all panels are aligned correctly and secured using the provided fasteners.
4. Install Internal Structures: Insert the multi-tier platforms and ladders as indicated in the assembly diagram.
5. Attach Roof and Doors: Secure the roof panel to the top of the cage. Ensure all main doors and feeder doors are properly hinged and can open and close smoothly.
6. Place Cage on Stand: Carefully lift the assembled cage and place it onto the rolling stand, ensuring it is stable and securely seated.
7. Install Accessories: Insert the wooden perches into the designated slots. Attach the feeder cups to the small feeder doors. Hang the rope boing inside the cage.

Operation

Accessing the Cage

• Main Doors: The large front doors are secured with crescent locks. To open, slide the lock mechanism and pull the door outwards. Ensure doors are securely latched when closed to prevent escapes.
• Feeder Doors: Small doors are located on the sides for easy access to feeder cups. Slide the feeder door upwards to remove or replace the feeder cup. Always ensure these doors are closed and secured after use.

Moving the Cage

The cage is equipped with four industrial casters for mobility. To move the cage, gently push it to the desired location. Ensure the path is clear of obstacles. For long-term stationary placement, consider locking the casters if they have a locking mechanism (refer to caster design).

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for maintaining a healthy environment for your pets.

• Slide-Out Tray: The cage features a removable slide-out tray at the bottom. Pull the tray out to dispose of droppings and debris. Clean the tray with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry before reinserting.
• Bottom Grate: The bottom grate separates pets from their droppings. This grate can also be removed for cleaning. Wash with mild soap and water, rinse, and dry.
• Cage Bars: Wipe down cage bars regularly with a pet-safe cleaner or a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, the entire cage can be hosed down outdoors if necessary, ensuring all parts are completely dry before reintroducing pets.
• Accessories: Clean feeder cups and perches regularly. Wooden perches may require scrubbing to remove accumulated waste. Replace worn or damaged perches and toys as needed.

Troubleshooting

• Cage Instability: Ensure all screws and fasteners are tightened. Check that the cage is properly seated on the stand. Verify that the stand legs are evenly placed on a flat surface.
• Doors Not Closing Securely: Inspect hinges and latch mechanisms for any obstructions or damage. Ensure the door frame is not bent. Adjust if possible or contact support for replacement parts.
• Difficulty Moving Cage: Check casters for debris or hair accumulation. Clean casters if necessary. Ensure casters are not locked if you intend to move the cage.
• Rust Formation: While the cage is made of wrought iron, prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to rust. Ensure the cage is kept dry, especially after cleaning. Address any rust spots promptly with appropriate rust treatment.
