2. Setup

Your Tamagotchi Connection requires one CR2032 battery, which is included. To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Use a small screwdriver to open the battery cover.
- Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
- Replace the battery cover and secure it with the screw.

3.1 Basic Controls
The Tamagotchi Connection features three primary buttons for interaction:

3.2 Caring for Your Character

- Medicine: If your character becomes sick (indicated by a 'Skull' icon), select the 'Syringe' icon to administer medicine.
- Lights: Turn the lights off (indicated by a 'Lamp' icon) when your character goes to sleep.

The Tamagotchi Connection allows interaction with other Tamagotchi Connection devices.

- Marriage & Generations: Characters can eventually marry and raise new generations of Tamagotchi characters.
3.4 Gotchi Points and Items
Earn Gotchi Points by playing games. These points can be used to purchase new food and other items for your character. Special passwords may unlock unique items.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning Your Device
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints and dust. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
4.2 Battery Life
The included CR2032 battery provides power for the device. Battery life may vary based on usage. Replace the battery when the screen dims or the device becomes unresponsive.
5. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Turning On: Check if the CR2032 battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Unresponsive Buttons: Ensure buttons are not stuck. If the device is unresponsive, try removing and reinserting the battery to reset it. Note that resetting may erase progress.
