4. Setup

4.1 Inserting SIM Cards and microSD Card

Your Tecno Spark 30C 5G supports Dual SIM cards and a microSD card for expandable storage.

  1. Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your device.
  2. Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
  3. Place your Nano-SIM cards and/or microSD card into the designated slots on the tray, ensuring the gold contacts face down.
  4. Carefully push the tray back into the device until it clicks into place.

4.2 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the device battery.

  1. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the charging port at the bottom of your phone.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the 18W power adapter.
  3. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  4. The charging indicator will appear on the screen. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

4.3 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (located on the right side) until the Tecno logo appears.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears, then tap "Power off".
  • To Restart: Press and hold the Power button until the power options menu appears, then tap "Restart".

5. Operating Your Device

5.1 Basic Navigation

  • Touch Screen Gestures: Tap, double-tap, long press, swipe, pinch-in/out.
  • Home Screen: Swipe left or right to navigate between home screens.
  • Notification Panel: Swipe down from the top of the screen to access notifications and quick settings.
  • App Drawer: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to view all installed applications.

5.2 Making Calls

  1. Open the Phone app.
  2. Enter the phone number using the dial pad, or select a contact from your contacts list.
