1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the CTOLITY APower400 Portable Power Station. This device is designed to provide reliable and clean power for various applications, including home use, camping, travel, RVs, and emergencies. Featuring a 345.6Wh LiFePO4 battery and a 500W AC output, it offers versatile charging solutions for your electronic devices and small appliances.

2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before using the product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Do not expose the power station to high temperatures or humidity. Store in a cool, dry place.
  • Ensure the product's battery capacity is kept above 60% for long-term shelving to maintain battery longevity.
  • Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the unit. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Keep away from flammable materials and open flames.
  • Use only recommended charging cables and adapters.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the unit to strong impacts.
  • The advanced Battery Management System (BMS) provides protection against overcharging, over-discharging, over-current, over-voltage, short circuits, overload, thermal issues, and battery failure.

4.1. Ports and Buttons

  • AC Input: For charging the power station via AC adapter.
  • DC Input/Output (12V/10A): For charging via car charger or solar panel, and for DC output.
  • AC Output (2x Pure Sine Wave 500W): For powering AC appliances.
  • USB-A (3x QC3.0 18W): For fast charging compatible USB devices.
  • USB-C (PD22.5W): For fast charging compatible USB-C devices.
  • Wireless Charging Pad: Located on the top surface for compatible mobile phones.
  • LED Digital Display: Shows battery percentage, input/output wattage, and estimated time to empty/full.
  • USB ON/OFF Button: Activates/deactivates USB outputs.
  • AC ON/OFF Button: Activates/deactivates AC outputs.
  • DC ON/OFF Button: Activates/deactivates DC output.
  • LED Light Button: Controls the built-in LED light.

5. Setup

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your CTOLITY APower400 Portable Power Station.

5.1. Initial Charging

  1. Connect the provided AC charging cable to the AC Input port on the power station.
  2. Plug the other end of the AC charging cable into a standard wall outlet.
  3. The LCD display will show the charging status. The power station can be fully recharged in approximately 1.2 hours when using both AC and DC inputs simultaneously.

Alternatively, you can charge using the car charging cable or a compatible solar panel (sold separately).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

To power on the unit, press and hold the main power button until the LCD screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the main power button again until the screen turns off.

6.2. Using AC Outputs

  1. Ensure the power station is turned on.
  2. Press the AC ON/OFF button to activate the AC outlets. The AC indicator on the display will light up.
  3. Plug your AC appliance into one of the 500W pure sine wave AC outlets.
  4. When finished, press the AC ON/OFF button again to turn off the AC outputs and conserve battery.

6.3. Using USB and DC Outputs

  1. Ensure the power station is turned on.
  2. Press the USB ON/OFF button to activate the USB-A and USB-C ports.
  3. Press the DC ON/OFF button to activate the DC output port.
  4. Connect your devices to the appropriate USB or DC ports.
  5. When finished, press the respective ON/OFF buttons to deactivate the outputs.

6.4. Wireless Charging

The APower400 supports wireless charging for compatible mobile phones (5W, iPhone 7.5W, Samsung 10W).

  1. Ensure the power station is turned on.
  2. Place your mobile phone on the top surface of the power station, aligning it with the wireless charging symbol.
  3. The phone's screen should indicate that it is charging wirelessly.

6.5. LED Light Function

The power station features a built-in LED light with multiple modes for various situations.

  1. Press the LED Light Button once for Low brightness mode.
  2. Press again for High brightness mode.
  3. Press a third time for Strobe mode.
  4. Press a fourth time for SOS mode.
  5. Press a fifth time to turn off the LED light.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your power station.

  • Regular Charging: It is recommended to fully charge the power station every 2-3 months, even when not in use, to maintain battery health and prevent deep discharge.
  • Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
  • Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the power station. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  • Battery Life: The LiFePO4 battery is designed to last 2,000 charge cycles while retaining at least 80% of its original capacity.
