5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing Your Skin

  1. For optimal results, trim hair to approximately 2-3 mm (0.08-0.12 inches) in length before epilating.
  2. Cleanse your skin thoroughly with a gentle cleanser to remove any oils, lotions, or makeup. Ensure skin is completely dry before proceeding.

5.2 Epilation Process

  1. Turn on the epilator using the power button. If your model has multiple speed settings, select the appropriate speed based on your comfort level and hair thickness.
  2. Hold the skin taut with one hand in the area you intend to epilate.
  3. Gently glide the epilator over the skin against the direction of hair growth. Maintain a slow, steady movement.
  4. Avoid pressing too hard on the skin to prevent irritation. Let the epilator do the work.
  5. For sensitive areas, proceed with extra caution and ensure the skin is held very taut.
  6. After completing epilation, turn off the device.

5.3 Post-Epilation Care

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your epilator.

  1. Ensure the epilator is turned off and disconnected from the power source before cleaning.
  2. Detach the epilating head from the main body.
  3. Use the provided cleaning brush (Figure 2) to remove any trapped hairs from the tweezer discs and the epilator head.
  4. If the head is washable (check product specifications, generally epilator heads are), rinse it under running water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching or storing. Do not rinse the main body of the epilator.
  5. Wipe the main body of the epilator with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
