Setup and Assembly Instructions
Assembly is designed to be straightforward and can typically be completed in under 30 minutes with two people. All necessary tools and hardware, including a ratcheting wrench, are provided.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Attach Side Rails to Headboard: Connect the side rails to the headboard using the provided bolts and hardware. Do not fully tighten bolts until all major components are assembled.
- Attach Side Rails to Footboard: Connect the other end of the side rails to the footboard. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Install Support Legs: Attach any central support legs to the frame as indicated in the detailed diagram (not provided in this text, refer to included paper manual).
- Place Wooden Slats: Lay the wooden slats across the bed frame. The durable slat system is designed to provide excellent mattress support without the need for a box spring. Secure the slats using the provided fasteners or velcro strips.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, fully tighten all bolts and screws using the ratcheting wrench.

Operating Instructions
- Mattress Placement: Place your King size mattress directly onto the wooden slats. A box spring is not required for this bed frame.
- Recommended Mattress Thickness: For optimal comfort and aesthetic, a mattress thickness of 9 inches or greater is recommended.
- Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the bed surface to maintain structural integrity.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: For the upholstered fabric, spot clean only. Use a mild detergent and a damp cloth to gently blot any stains. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the headboard and frame with a soft, dry cloth.
- Hardware Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) inspect all bolts and connections. Tighten any loose hardware to maintain stability and prevent squeaking.
Troubleshooting
- Squeaking Noises: If the bed frame squeaks, check all bolts and ensure they are securely tightened. Loose connections are the most common cause of noise.
- Instability/Wobbling: Ensure the bed is placed on a level surface. Verify that all support legs are making firm contact with the floor and that all frame connections are tight.
- Slats Shifting: If wooden slats shift, ensure they are properly seated in their designated positions and that any velcro or fasteners are engaged.
