Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Connect the provided TYPE-C power cable to the Type-C charging port on the back of the CD player.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
3. The LCD display will illuminate, indicating the device is receiving power.

2. Inserting a CD

1. Gently open the dust cover on the front of the CD player.
2. Place a CD (CD, MP3, CD-R, CD-RW format) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
3. Close the dust cover firmly until it clicks into place.

3. Connecting External Devices

• USB Drive: Insert a USB drive into the USB port on the side of the player.
• TF Card: Insert a TF card into the TF card slot on the side of the player.
• AUX Input: Use the provided AUX cable to connect an external audio source (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX port on the back.
• Headphones: Plug 3.5mm wired headphones into the headphone jack on the back for private listening.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Controls

• Power Button: Press to turn the device on or off.
• Play/Pause Button: Press to start or pause playback.
• Previous/Next Buttons: Press to skip to the previous or next track. Hold to fast forward/rewind.
• Volume Control: Use the volume buttons on the device or remote to adjust the sound level.

2. Mode Selection

Press the MODE button on the device or remote control to cycle through the available modes: CD, Bluetooth, USB, TF Card, FM Radio, AUX, and Sleep Music.

3. Bluetooth Operation

• Bluetooth Receiver (Playing from Phone/Computer):
  1. Switch the CD player to Bluetooth Mode (display shows "BLUE").
  2. On your external device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for "Gracioso Q800".
  3. Select the device to pair. Once connected, you can play audio from your external device through the CD player's speakers.
• Bluetooth Transmitter (Streaming CD to External Speaker):
  1. Ensure your external Bluetooth speaker is in pairing mode.
  2. Switch the CD player to CD Mode and start playing a CD.
  3. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the CD player until the display indicates pairing mode. The CD player will search for nearby Bluetooth speakers.
  4. Once connected, the CD audio will stream to your external Bluetooth speaker.

4. FM Radio Tuning

1. Switch the CD player to FM Radio Mode (display shows frequency).
2. Extend the antenna on the back of the device for better reception.
3. Use the Previous/Next buttons to manually tune to a station or press and hold to auto-scan for available stations.

5. Setting Time, Alarm, and Timer

Refer to the detailed instructions in the included paper manual for setting the clock, alarm, and sleep timer functions, as these often involve specific button sequences.

6. A-B Repeat Function

While playing a CD, USB, or TF card, press the A-B Repeat button at the desired starting point (A). Press it again at the desired ending point (B). The player will continuously repeat the section between A and B. Press a third time to cancel.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Device: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the CD player. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Cleaning the CD Lens: If CD playback issues occur, use a specialized CD lens cleaning disc or a cotton swab with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the laser head.
• CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Store them in their cases to prevent scratches and dust accumulation.
• Dust Cover: Keep the dust cover closed when not in use to protect the internal components.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Device is not charging.

• Check if the charging interface is loose or damaged. Clean or replace the interface if necessary.
• Verify the charging cable is not damaged or has poor contact. Replace with a new charging cable if needed.
• Inspect the charging port for any clutter or blockages. Ensure it is free of dust or damage. Clean or replace the port if required.

Issue: Bluetooth is not working.

• This device does not support connecting to car Bluetooth.
• Check for environmental interference. Turn off or disable Bluetooth on other nearby devices.
• Adjust the distance between the CD player and the Bluetooth device. Bring them closer to increase signal strength.
• Reboot the speaker or remove the battery and/or disconnect the power cord for a minute to restart the device before attempting to connect to Bluetooth.
• Clear the paired device memory of the speaker and try pairing the device again.
• Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both devices. If Bluetooth is not enabled on one of the devices, it will not be able to connect.

Issue: CD player won't play my CD.

• Ensure the CD door is closed tightly.
• Dust and dirt inside the laser head or on the CD can affect reading. Use a special cleaning disc or cotton swab to gently wipe the laser head.
• Check the CD for scratches, stains, or deformation. Use a clean, unscratched disc and regularly check the quality of your discs.
• If the laser head is poorly focused, it may lead to reading failure. Try to adjust the laser focus manually or use a special cleaning disc.
• If the above methods are ineffective, the internal parts of the CD player may be damaged or aging. It is recommended to contact a professional repairer for inspection and repair, or replace the CD player or related parts if necessary.
