3. Product Overview
The Portronics Toad 8 mouse features a transparent design, allowing visibility of its internal components. It includes a scroll wheel, left and right click buttons, a DPI adjustment button, and a dedicated Show/Hide Desktop button. The underside houses the power switch, mode switch, and a compartment for the USB receiver.

4. Setup and Connectivity
4.1 Charging the Mouse
The Toad 8 mouse features a built-in rechargeable battery. To charge, connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the port at the front of the mouse and to a USB power source. The charging indicator will illuminate.

4.2 Power On/Off and Mode Selection
Locate the power switch on the underside of the mouse to turn it ON or OFF. The mouse supports dual wireless modes: Bluetooth 5.3 and 2.4 GHz. Use the mode switch button on the underside to cycle between these connectivity options.
4.3 2.4 GHz Wireless Connection
- Remove the USB receiver from its storage compartment on the underside of the mouse.
- Insert the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer or device.
- Switch the mouse to 2.4 GHz mode using the mode switch button. The mouse should automatically connect.

4.4 Bluetooth 5.3 Connection (Multi-Device Pairing)
The mouse can pair with up to two Bluetooth devices.
- Switch the mouse to Bluetooth mode (BT1 or BT2) using the mode switch button on the underside.
- On your device (laptop, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "Portronics Toad 8" from the list to pair.
- Repeat for a second Bluetooth device using the other Bluetooth mode (BT2 if you used BT1 first).
- To switch between paired Bluetooth devices or to 2.4 GHz mode, simply press the mode switch button on the underside of the mouse.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Silent Clicking
The Portronics Toad 8 mouse is designed with noise-free clicking, providing a quiet working environment.

5.2 Adjusting DPI Sensitivity
The mouse offers adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) sensitivity for precise control. Press the DPI button located near the scroll wheel to cycle through available DPI settings (e.g., 1000, 1200, 1600 DPI).

6. Maintenance
